The trip was long for Wes but a stack of DVD's made it manageable. We are checked into an extended stay hotel. It has all the comforts of home including a queen bed, recliner, 19'' TV and full kitchen all in a 15' x 15' room. This will definitely bring our family closer together.
Our first visit to the new hospital was a little overwhelming. It is much larger and there were people everywhere, but once we got to the ICU where Eric was things settled down. We were very impressed with everyone we met.
The doctors seemed like they were able to pick right up with where the Omaha one's left off. I expected them to start from scratch and rerun many of the tests, but they are able to build off what the other doctor's have learned.
