New drug for the baby

The doctors aren't entirely pleased with the speed of progress Eric has made in his 5 weeks here in Cincinnati. He has made great progress, but they think it should be a little faster. So we are going to switch to a slightly different drug from the immunosuppressant he has been on for the last few weeks (Tacrolimus) to a new one called Sirolimus. I found it interesting that this new drug is produced from some weird bacteria that they found on Easter Island. Easter Island is the small island in the south Pacific where all the big stone faces are. So, they are going to give this drug about 3 weeks and then see how he's doing. If he responds really well it is possible that they would then transfer us to a hospital close to home and treat him remotely.
