Grin and bear it

Eric seemed much happier today. One of the blood cultures they took yesterday is showing bacterial growth. This could explain why he seemed under the weather this weekend. As the culture continues to grow, they will be able to tell what it is and if the antibiotics he is on will be effective in treating it.

Wes woke up in the middle of the night with what sounded like croup. We kept him home from daycare today and he seems to be fine. We will probaby have to keep him away from Eric for a while. I gave him a haircut tonight. This was the first time I've ever cut hair that wasn't my own. I think I did a decent job. I'll try to remember to post a picture tomorrow.

I got my absentee ballot in the mail today. It has to be delivered to the election commissioner's office in Sarpy County Nebraska by 8pm tomorrow, (which isn't easily acheived) so I've decided that neither major party candidate will get my vote. I let Wes use the ballot to draw on tonight.
