How to save a life

Several people have asked me about bone marrow donation. Siblings are the only potential donors that have a significantly high chance of being a match.

Since they have already successfully identified some compatible donors for Eric, he doesn't need your help. I still strongly encourage you to consider registering since there are many people out there that do need help. You can learn more at www.marrow.org

I'd also like to encourage everyone to donate blood. Eric has needed about half a dozen blood transfusions and will likely need more. These transfusions are all from volunteer donors. Like the bone marrow registry, there isn't anyway to direct a donation to a specific person. Learn more at www.redcross.org

Eric weighed 4.19kg again today.
