Eric had a pretty long and rough day yesterday. His endoscopies were suppose to be a fairly simple procedure and only take about an hour. While they were scoping his upper GI tract, the feeding tube they installed last week came out of place. They tried for a few hours to reposition it with endoscopic tools, but ended up having to opened up his abdomen and redo the surgery he had last week. The surgury went fine.
So, Eric has to recover again this week. We should get some lab results from the biopsies they took during the scopes early next week. They can't tell much visually, but they said his intesines looked about the same. The doctors hope to be able to make some major decisions this week about what steps to take next.
Eric had one of his top teeth break through yesterday. That's three total now.
