His temperature got above 105 for a while last night, but they have been able to keep it down to around 101. They have him on a cooling mat and also had to give him medicine to paralize him so he can't shiver. They can only do this since he is on the ventilator to breathe for him.
His blood pressure was low enough that he is also on a medicine to make his blood vessels constrict in an attempt to keep it up.
The doctors think this is all caused by an infection. They have him on some strong antibiotics and they think it is helping.
Our departue for Cincinnati will likely be delayed until he is healthier.

I'm sorry to hear that Eric is having such a struggle. He and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
