Doing good, making plans

Eric was taken off the ventilator this morning. He is doing very well. His new central line is working great so far.

The doctors made a tentative schedule today. They will start the transplant process next week. He will first start a drug on Monday called Campath and then his chemotherapy on Thursday with a drug called Fludarabine. These will continue into the next week and then he will get a dose of Melphalan. They will infuse the donor stem cells on Friday, May 15th.

So, his path is set. There is a chance it could get adjusted, but they printed it all out on a nice calendar for us, so it seems like something they intend to stick to.
