The doctors said he is doing well enough to take him off the ventilator, but they don't want to put him through that struggle while he is starting chemo. If he does okay on the chemo for a a few days, they will consider it then.

Counting down
Eric received his first dose of chemotherapy today. So far, he hasn't shown any signs of side effects. He is still on the ventilator and heavily sedated so the side effects may be hidden.
