Doing better

After friday's events, everything has been relatively quiet. Eric has
been awake and alert at times today. Since he is on the ventilator
again, he is under sedation and this keeps him sleeping most the time.

They started him on bumex, which is a diaretic, to help him shed
water. This has helped with all the swelling, but he still has a ways
to go.

He is breathing well enough that he can probably be taken off the
ventilator once we can't get most the swelling down. I think we will
probably take things slow.
