Hanging in there

Eric had a stable day and seems to be doing well.

The doctors are speculating that Eric's arrest was caused by a
reaction to a platelet infusion he was getting at the time. It
usually takes a few months after a bone marrow transplant for your
body to be able to maintain your platelet levels so Eric has been
getting infusions a few times a day. They always use blood products
that are compatible with Eric's blood type, but occaissionally there
can be a mismatch in something other than the major antigens that can
cause issues if you aren't at 100% to begin with.

So, they are going to stop giving Eric platelets at night since there
are less doctors around to notice the suttle signs. They are also
going to put the platelets through a special "washing" process before
giving them to him.
