Change of plans

One of the many tests they ran on Eric this week came back with results that indicate to the doctors what might be causing his issues. Some of his blood cells (T and B cells) aren't functioning properly. This could be causing a severe immune deficiency. They are running more tests now. They think the tests will be able to tell if the cells were produced by Eric's body or passed to him while he was in utero. From there, they should be able to narrow down what's going on. One of the stronger possibilities is a disease called SCID. It is not common and pretty severe, but there are ways to treat it.

Anyways, for now, they won't be sending us to Cincinatti Children's.

Sorry I didn't take a picture tonight. My phone's battery is low.
