Doing well

Eric is doing well. They may move him from the ICU to the GI wing later today.

The current plan is to start him on immuno supressive therapy once they finish this first round of tests. They aren't able to draw blood from the current central IV so they might install a second one to make things easier. The therapy should improve his immediate health while they figure everything out.

David,

Your folks gave us your site so we could keep in touch and know how things are going. You are all in our prayers.

Bless you all

David,

Please know that all of us here in Omaha are rooting for li'l Eric. Eric's beautiful smile is so very missed. It actually feels very weird walking into his old room...his presence is still very much felt!
Hope that you are all settling in & that the Blue Ash area is working out. Hmmmmmm..... thinkin' that I really miss Cincinnati Chili but not the heart burn that it always causes me. I am from Covington, right across the Ohio river....I think the Ohio River Valley is a very nice area. I hope that your family is able to take a few oportunities to enjoy it.

Forgot to ask if we could see a pic or two of Nicole with Eric.....are you hiding Nicole??? Again...today Jessica & I are working & we still feel odd going into rm 492 & no Eric! MISS YOU ERIC! Nicole...don't forget to try the goetta (pronounced get a).
Hey...while you guys were in PICU did you happen to meet an "Eric Martin"? He is a PICU nurse & is extremely nice. I worked with him while I was there in Cincy.
Well.....Erics' smile is as beautiful & as big as ever in the pics you've posted. Thank you...we look forward to seeing them & hope that all his coming days are filled with more of the same big beautiful grins.

Kay, we don't remember an Eric Martin, but we were only in the PICU during 3 shifts.

We haven't tried goetta yet, but we'll keep out eyes out for it.
