Movin on up

We switched hotel rooms today. We are now on the third floor in a slightly bigger room. The mail still makes it to us though. We got a box from my folks with some delicious cookies and some stuff for Wes.

Eric got another transfusion of blood today. He looks better now. Tomorrow we meet with his primary GI doc and immunologist to talk over where we are at and how we will continue.

Eric and I finished reading The Catcher in the Rye. When I got done, I kinda wanted to burn it. Not in protest, or because I disapprove of the language, but just because it wasn't very good. I think my expectations were too high. I really didn't get the point. Maybe I'm too old.

Hey Dave - It's Andrea Dollen from work. I read 'Catcher in the Rye' when I was much younger - I felt the same way as you, so you're definitely not too old!!

I hope everything is going well for you and your family. I read your updates all the time and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Your children are absolutely adorable!

Hi Dave, it's Toni. I first read Catcher in the Rye when I was 13 or 14 and loved it at the time. If I try to reread it as an adult it doesn't have the same impact. It probably depends on how much teen angst the reader is experiencing :-). Stuart Little is a good all ages choice. So is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
