The new drug that Eric is on is difficult for the doctors to get the dosage correct. They have to test his blood everyday to see if he at the correct level. There are a lot of factors that play into how much each person absorbs and how fast it degrades. It also takes a while for the changes to take effect and some of the other drugs he is on effect the levels.
So, this morning the level got way to high and made him feel pretty awful. He's already recoved and is back to his normal self. They ran a bunch of tests on him just to make sure nothing else is going on.
