Getting closer

Eric has only needed very minimal support from the respirator today. They want him awake when they stop it so they turned off his sedatives and narcotics. Now we are really just waiting for them to wear off.

I've been offered a position by my old employer and will start back to work on the 13th. I'm pretty sure Eric will be in Cincinnati by then. It is going to be very tough to not be able to be with him everyday, but I'm really excited about this new job and it doesn't seem prudent to pass up this opportunity.
