Busy day

Eric was restless for most of the day today. They decided to up his
pain medication and that helped quite a bit.

We had some test results come back today that indicate Eric may have
pancreatitis. Evidently this can be pretty painful which explains his
restlessness. They can't really do anything to treat it, but it
usually goes away on it's own.

Eric's PICC line stop working today. This has been the only IV li e
they could draw blood from, so they had to fix it. First they sent up
a nurse who was able to "repair" the old one. A few hours later when
that stopped working, they to take Eric down to the interventional
radiology dept and swap out the old for a new one. This is much easier
than putting it in the first time. So, he is all fixed up now
regarding his IV.
