like it was just yesterday, but find it hard to remember what it was
like before he joined our family. The last year has been tough, but so
amazing. Every time I hold Eric in my arms, I can't help to think how
lucky and blessed we are.
Eric had a great birthday. There were balloons, new toys, and some
singing. No cake or clowns are allowed in his room, so we'll have to
make up for it next year. He is looking as good as he has looked in a
few weeks. His belly is much slimmer and he seems more comfortable.
His tests today indicate that he doesn't have pancreatitis after all.
This is good thing but leaves us stumped as to why he has been so
uncomfortable. They are going to continue to run more tests and try
to tweak his medication.
